Christos Kalkanis

Christos Kalkanis is a Principal Software Engineer at Elastic since November 2021, previously serving as a Senior Software Engineer at optimyze, where the focus was on the development of Prodfiler, a continuous profiling tool. Prior to that, Christos worked at Immunity Inc. from October 2010 to January 2021 as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer and Product Manager, leading the development of the INNUENDO platform for advanced persistent threat modeling deployed in Fortune 500 security engagements. Christos began the career as a Software Engineer at Bee Group SA and conducted research as a Postgraduate Researcher at the University of Essex. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Embedded Systems and Robotics and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both earned at the University of Essex.
