Sanjay Deshmukh

Sanjay Deshmukh currently serves as the Vice President for Asia Pacific and Japan at Elastic, a position held since April 2025. Prior to this role, Sanjay was the Senior Regional Vice President for ASEAN and India at Snowflake from September 2021 to March 2025, as well as the Vice President and Managing Director for South East Asia and Korea at VMware from May 2014 to September 2021, where responsibilities included managing business operations and executing strategies for the region. Earlier in the career, Sanjay was involved with Citrix Systems India Pvt Ltd as Area Vice President for the India Subcontinent and held various leadership roles at SAP India Pvt. Ltd., culminating in a Vice President position. Sanjay holds an MBA in Sales and Marketing from ITM - Institute of Technology and Management Mumbai, earned between January 1998 and January 2001.
