Carlos de la Peña M. has extensive experience in risk management, compliance, and IT auditing. Currently serving in EU Product Operations at U.S. Bank since November 2014, Carlos oversees regulatory and compliance projects across Europe, collaborating with various business units to enhance corporate governance and risk management. Prior to this role, Carlos was the Director of Security Controls at SEKURA LLC, where responsibilities included auditing security measures at Honduran international airports. Carlos gained significant expertise during tenure at KPMG España and KPMG México, where focus was on IT risk and compliance, leading national and international IT audits for various sectors. Carlos holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad del Valle de Atemajac and an IT Auditor certification from the International Centre for Information Systems and Audit in India.
