Richard Walsh

Richard Walsh has over 25 years of work experience in the technology industry. Richard is currently serving as the SVP of Product Engineering at Elavon Europe since July 2023. Prior to this, Richard held various leadership roles at Worldpay, including Senior Director of Engineering (Acquiring), Director of Engineering (Payments), and Head of Engineering from 2019 to 2023. Richard also worked as an Engineering Manager at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2018 to 2019. Richard has extensive experience in founding teams and principal engineering roles, having worked at Taskize from 2015 to 2018. Richard also held key positions at Royal Bank of Scotland Business, Merlins Rock Solutions LTD, Avaya, Ericsson, and Amdahl/Fujitsu Consulting IRELAND. Overall, Richard has a strong background in engineering, architecture, and management within the technology sector.

Richard Walsh attended the University of Limerick from 1992 to 1996, where they pursued a degree in Computer Systems with a field of study in Computer Science.
