German Gonzalez-Rivas has a diverse work experience in the technology sector. German started their career as a QA intern at CenPOS in 2013, gaining experience in testing and debugging software. German then worked as a Software Engineering Intern at ADP Dealer Services, where they developed a web application for internal use. In 2014, Gonzalez-Rivas joined CDK Global as a Software Engineer, where they worked on application rewrite projects and led the integration of CenPOS's payment solution into CDK's products. In 2016, they became the Head of Technology at CenPOS, and in 2019, they joined Elavon, Inc. as a Principal Engineer.

German Gonzalez-Rivas earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University in 2014. German then pursued a Master of Science in Information Technology from Florida Institute of Technology from 2016 to 2018. Prior to their university studies, German attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School from 2006 to 2010.
