Ajay Rakesh

Ajay Rakesh is an experienced mechanical engineer currently serving as President of the Society of Automotive Engineers at Elbee Racing since August 2021, where Ajay leads executive operations and financial decision-making while managing engineering documentation for a BAJA SAE Design Competition vehicle. Ajay initiated the FORMULA team at California State University, Long Beach in June 2024. In addition to various project roles, including Project Data Acquisition Team Member and CVT Test Rig and Tuning Lead, Ajay has actively secured sponsorships and organized industry events as Outreach Director Board Member. Ajay's internships at ReMo Homes involved designing a digital twin for a net-zero modular home and developing a low-cost thermal insulation wall prototype. Ajay is pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at California State University, Long Beach, after graduating from Arcadia High School in June 2021.
