Chris Hewitt

Chris Hewitt is a seasoned software consultant and engineer with extensive experience in designing and implementing software for various high-tech applications. Currently serving as a Sr Software Consultant at Elbit Systems Ltd since December 2021, Chris specializes in legacy helicopter flight computers and display systems, leveraging skills in C, C++, and ARINC standards. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer at L3Harris Technologies focusing on autonomous vehicles, and Principal Software Engineer at SAIC, developing real-time embedded control software for advanced military systems. Additional work encompasses contributions to NASA's Earthquake Early Warning system, software for medical devices at Abbott, and development of intelligent vehicle control systems. Chris holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas, an MBA from Amberton University, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Texas State University.
