Jocelyne Fliger, MSW has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Jocelyne began their career as a Head Reservationist/Sales Office Associate at Commander's Palace Restaurant from September 2001 to June 2004. Jocelyne then transitioned to Wachovia Securities, where they worked as a Teller Manager from July 2004 to August 2005, and later as a Sales Associate from August 2005 to December 2005.
In 2006, Jocelyne joined 2-1-1 Big Bend as a Lead Hotline Counselor until October 2007, after which they became the PM Supervisor/Training Coordinator until July 2014. Additionally, they worked as an Off-Site Supervisor from September 2007 to August 2014.
From August 2012 to December 2015, Jocelyne served as an On-Call Victim Advocate at Florida State University.
Since July 2014, they have been associated with Elder Care Services, Inc., where they held the position of Director of Volunteers and Engagement until January 2020. Jocelyne then assumed the role of President/CEO in January 2020.
Jocelyne Fliger, MSW, obtained a Master's degree in Social Work from Florida State University from 2012 to 2015. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Women's Studies from Tulane University, graduating in 2001. Jocelyne completed their high school education at The University of Akron in 1997. In addition, Jocelyne Fliger holds certifications in Gerontology from Florida State University and in Supervisory Leaders in Aging from the National Association of Social Workers.

Elder Care Services is the leading provider of community-based senior care in the Florida Big Bend. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for seniors and their caretakers. For over 50 years, providing compassionate home-based care has been a cornerstone of our mission. Since our founding in 1970 we have been driven by compassionate and generous community members. Each year, hundreds of individuals give thousands of hours of service, from delivering Meals on Wheels, to providing companionship, to supporting events. Together, our community partners help us improve the quality of life for seniors and their caregivers. Our staff and volunteers are a friendly face, knowledgeable ear and strong arm for seniors throughout the area. For active seniors, we provide an avenue to stay engaged in the community through volunteering placement, made possible through a long standing partnership with the Corporation for National & Community Service (Senior Corp program). We are also our area's definitive source of accurate information on aging issues, services and programs affecting seniors and we actively advocate for seniors to fulfill unmet needs in the community.
