Michael Thurber

Michael Thurber has a diverse range of work experience in the field of data analysis and statistical modeling. Michael began their career as a Business Intelligence Consultant at EDS and worked there for over a decade. Michael then joined Capital One, where they held roles as a Data Analysis Manager and Statistical Analysis Manager, focusing on developing statistical models and providing training. Currently, Thurber is employed as a Principal Scientist at Elder Research, Inc., where they consult with clients across different industries on data science best practices and the development of machine learning models.

Michael Thurber earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University. Michael later pursued a Master's degree in Statistics at Virginia Commonwealth University from 2007 to 2009.
