Commercial Operations Manager at Elder

Ricardo Aley-Williams began their career in 2017 as a General Assistant at Waitrose & Partners, where they were responsible for assisting in the training and development of new partners, as well as dealing with customer complaints, phone calls, and the returning of parcels. In 2019, they moved to Bulb as a Graduate Energy Specialist, where they supported the operations team to identify potential efficiencies for improved performance in account management and member experience, as well as dispute resolution and maintenance, liaising with market suppliers, distribution network operators, and metering engineers. In 2021, they joined Elder as a Partnerships Account Management Team Lead, where they were responsible for developing and leading their team to achieve and exceed their targets whilst delivering an exceptional customer experience, resolving customer escalations in a positive and proactive manner, and working collaboratively with the Customer Experience trainer in the recruitment, induction, and training of new team members as well as the training and development of their own team. Ricardo also held the role of Account Manager, managing ~50 accounts and supporting customers through their care journey, as well as liaising and collaborating with the matching team to ensure the success of carer placements.

Ricardo Aley-Williams completed a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Southampton between 2014 and 2017. Prior to this, they attended Eltham College from 2007 to 2014. In August 2020, they obtained a certification in The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from The Open University.
