Jacques Simoneau

Jacques Simoneau is an accomplished exploration manager with extensive experience in the mining and geology sectors. Currently serving as Exploration Manager for Eastern Canada at Eldorado Gold Corporation since July 2017, Jacques previously held the same title at Integra Gold Corp., where leadership facilitated a project acquisition by Eldorado Gold. Prior roles include Principal Geologist at Barrick Gold Corporation, overseeing evaluations for potential acquisitions, and Exploration Manager at Goldcorp Inc., managing exploration activities and budgets exceeding $20 million. Jacques began a lengthy career at Placer Dome Inc., progressing from Project Geologist to Sr. Exploration Geologist, managing projects across Africa and Canada. Jacques holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the Université de Montréal.
