Annette Nabavi

Annette Nabavi has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles. Annette is currently a Non Executive Director at Eleco plc since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Partner at AHV Associates starting from June 2005. In 2020, they became a Non Executive Director at Efficient Frontiers International. From 2017 to 2023, they held the position of Non Executive Director at Gemserv, where they served as the Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee. Annette also has experience as the Managing Director at Anchusa Consulting from December 2003 until March 2022. Annette was a Non Executive Director at Maintel from June 2014 to June 2021 and at IPSE - the Association for Independent Professionals and the Self Employed from July 2015 to July 2020. Annette Nabavi also served as the CEO of XchangePoint Holdings Ltd from August 2000 to June 2003, where they were responsible for various aspects including financing, strategy development, sales team management, and branding. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Global Telecoms Business Development, Investment Banking at ING Barings from November 1994 to May 2000. In this role, they were involved in corporate finance transactions and major deals in the UK and Europe. Annette also served as a Member Of The Board Of Advisors at the National Science and Media Museum from September 2011 to October 2020.

Annette Nabavi completed their education with a BA Hons in Zoology from the University of Oxford, where they studied from 1971 to 1974. Annette then pursued further academic achievements by obtaining a Doctorat de Troisieme Cycle in Entomology from the University of Dijon, France, specializing in the study of social insects and behavior. This degree was awarded to their between the years 1974 and 1977.
