Chris Jaran

Chris Jaran is an accomplished executive in the aerospace industry with extensive experience across various leadership roles. Currently serving as Vice President at Electra.aero since May 2025, Jaran previously held the position of Chief Manufacturing Officer at Piasecki Aircraft Corporation and Chief Operating Officer at MD Helicopters, Inc., where responsibilities included leading manufacturing operations and quality assurance. As CEO of Terrafugia, Jaran spearheaded growth from 19 to over 250 employees. Earlier experience includes Vice President for Bell Helicopter in China, leading FAA navigation system initiatives at TetraTech AMT, and key roles at Sikorsky Aircraft, where Jaran managed operations both domestically and in China. Jaran holds a comprehensive education in Aeronautical Engineering, including BS, MS, and PhD degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
