David M. Bennett

David M. Bennett is a seasoned professional in structural design with extensive experience in aerospace and defense industries. Currently serving as a Senior Structural Designer at General Dynamics Electric Boat since June 2016, David has managed the development of critical processes and standards for the Virginia 2D to 3D product definition project. Prior roles include Contract Senior Designer at Textron Systems and Contract Structural Designer at L-3 Communications, where David worked on complex unmanned aerospace designs and primary aircraft structures, respectively. David's background also includes positions at Boeing, B/E Aerospace, and several other engineering firms, consistently demonstrating expertise in 3D modeling and design verification using tools like Unigraphics and Catia V5. David holds an Associate's Degree in Mechanical Design & Drafting from the New England Institute of Technology.
