Ashish Chouhan, PhD has a varied work experience. In 2013, they were a Junior Project Engineer for Team Shunya, Solar Decathlon Europe 2014, a competition by the U.S. Dept. of Energy. Ashish was also an Undergraduate Researcher for Bio-CPV: Indo-UK Research Collaboration at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Visiting International Research Scholar at the University of Delaware. In 2014, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Delaware. From 2015 to 2020, they were a Researcher at the University of Delaware, where they designed and developed high-pressure electrochemical compressors for energy storage and HVAC applications. Ashish also established theoretical and experimental formulations for the role of back-diffusion on the performance of an ECC using hydrogen and ammonia as energy vectors. In 2020, they became a Senior Research Scientist at FUCELTECH. Currently, they are a Senior Engineer at Electric Hydrogen, where they are helping to cost-effectively decarbonize the massive industrial sectors.

Ashish Chouhan earned their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 2015. Ashish then went on to pursue their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Delaware, which they completed in 2020.
