Derek Warnick

Co-Founder and CFO at Electric Hydrogen Co.

Derek Warnick has a wealth of experience in the energy sector. In 2005, they began their career as a Technical Consultant at The World Bank. Derek then attended the MIT Sloan School of Management, graduating with an MBA in 2009. After graduation, they worked as a Summer Business Development Lead at EnerNOC, followed by an Advanced Product Manager role at World Energy. In 2011, they joined the Advisory Board at Leopard Capital LLC, and in 2013 they became the Chief Financial Officer at FGE Power. In 2018, they took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at Infinite Cooling, and in 2019 they became a Strategic Advisor at Tank Utility, which was later acquired by NYSE:GNRC. Derek also joined Breakthrough Energy as a Company Builder, and in 2021 they co-founded Electric Hydrogen Co. as the CFO.

Derek Warnick obtained their MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2009, specializing in Clean Energy Finance. Prior to that, they obtained a BSBA from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business in Finance and International Business.
