Shahab Akbari

Shahab Akbari has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering field since 1997. Shahab began their career as Manager at Niroo Consulting Engineers Co, where they managed a team of 4 engineers working on power quality projects. In 2003, they became Assistant Professor at University of Kashan, where they served as the Head of the Department for five years and as the administrator for robotic activities. In 2010, Akbari became an Adjunct Faculty at DeVry University, and in 2011 they held the same role at Los Angeles City College. From 2011-2022, they worked as a Senior Control and Instrumentation Engineer at Altex Technologies Corporation, where they worked in a multidisciplinary environment requiring knowledge of mechanical and chemical processes. In 2022, they began working as a Sr. Control and Instrumentation Engineer at Electric Hydrogen.

Shahab Akbari obtained their Ph.D in Electrical Engineering (Control systems) from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic between 1994 and 2002. Prior to that, they earned their M.Sc in Electrical Engineering (Control systems) from the same university between 1991 and 1994. Shahab also earned their B.Sc in Electronics Engineering from Sharif University of Technology between 1985 and 1990. In addition, they obtained a Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in February 2019.
