Sr. Power Systems Engineer at Electric Hydrogen Co.

Will Plaxico has worked in the renewable energy industry for over 15 years. Will began their career in 2006 as an Analyst, Manager, and Sr. Manager for Project Development at Axio Power/SunEdison. In 2011, they were an Intern in the Power Electronics Group at SunEdison. Will then moved to One-Cycle Control, Inc. in 2012 as an Intern in Application Engineering. From 2013 to 2014, they held internships with the City of Palo Alto Electric Utilities in the Distribution Engineering and Resource Planning Groups and with S&C Electric Company in the Power Electronics/Power Quality Group. In 2016, they joined Borrego Solar Systems as an Electrical Engineer and was responsible for AC design scope for more complex behind-the-meter projects. In 2018, they became a Systems Engineer, Commissioning & O&M at Stem, Inc. and in 2020, they joined Pacific Gas and Electric Company as a Sr. Engineer. Currently, they are a Sr. Power Systems Engineer at Electric Hydrogen, a company founded by experienced renewable energy technologists and backed by committed mission-driven investors.

Will Plaxico received a BA in Economics and Public Policy from Duke University from 2000 to 2004. Will then completed post-bac coursework in Electrical Engineering at California State University, Long Beach from 2011 to 2013. Finally, they earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2013 to 2016.
