Ian Haft

Ian Haft has a diverse work experience across various industries. Ian is currently working as a Senior Advisor at Alexet Capital Associates and as the Chief Financial Officer at Electric Monster. In 2018, they founded Surgis Capital, an independent sponsor of private equity and special situation investments. Ian is also a Member of the Board of Directors at Reef Communications Group LLC (IMDC), Ambac, Keweenaw Land Association Ltd, Baseline Data Services, LLC, Oz SPV LLC, and Galley Group, Inc. Ian has held leadership positions in these companies including Chairman of the Audit Committee and Chairman of the Governance and Nominating Committee. Additionally, Ian Haft served as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Baseline Data Services, LLC and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Hone Fitness Inc.

Ian Haft holds a diverse educational background, starting with their diploma from Tenafly High School, which they earned between 1985 and 1989. Ian then pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics/Economics from Dartmouth College between 1989 and 1993. Afterward, they attended Columbia Law School from 1996 to 2000, where they attained a Juris Doctor degree in Law. Additionally, Ian Haft completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance at Columbia Business School from 1998 to 2000.
