Amir Toliyat

Amir Toliyat, PhD, serves as the Engineering Manager at Electric Power Engineers, LLC, since September 2015, where responsibilities include leading interconnection, testing, and commissioning for various energy projects within the ERCOT territory, performing NERC compliance studies, and conducting power system impact analyses. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Power Systems Engineer and Power Systems Engineer at Electric Power Engineers, as well as research and teaching assistantships at The University of Texas at Austin, which culminated in advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering, including a PhD focused on Energy Systems. Additional experience includes a facilities engineering internship at Chevron. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University, a Master of Science, and a Doctor of Philosophy from The University of Texas at Austin.
