Haresh Kamath

Haresh Kamath is a seasoned expert in the field of energy storage and distributed energy resources, currently serving as Director of Distributed Energy Resources and Energy Storage at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) since January 2008. In this role, Kamath leads a team focused on advancing energy storage, microgrids, and distributed generation to ensure safe, clean, reliable, and affordable power for all. Previously, Kamath held various managerial positions at EPRI, including Program Manager for Energy Storage and Senior Project Manager for Transportation and Stationary Energy Storage. Kamath also possesses experience as a Manager of Applications Engineering at eVionyx and as a Responsible Product Engineer at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company. Kamath holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University.
