Paul Myrda

Paul Myrda is a seasoned professional in the electric power industry with extensive experience in program management and operations. Currently serving as a Senior Program Manager in Transmission Operations at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) since May 2007, Paul has led research in critical areas such as real-time operations situational awareness and voltage control. Additionally, in previous roles at EPRI, Paul managed projects focused on smart grid technologies and collaborated with clients on innovative data-driven solutions. Prior to EPRI, Paul held leadership positions at Trans-Elect, Michigan Electric Transmission Company, Battelle Memorial Institute, and Commonwealth Edison, contributing to technology integration, asset management, and operational efficiency. Paul holds an MBA from Northwestern University and both an MSEE and BSEE in Electric Power Systems from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
