Taylor Kelly

Taylor Kelly, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy storage and materials science sectors. Currently serving as the Director at Ulu Niu Foundation, a non-profit focused on advancing the welfare of Native Hawaiians, Taylor also holds the position of Senior Technical Leader at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), overseeing energy storage projects and managing technology transfer initiatives. Previously, Taylor was the Director of Failure Analysis and Director of Energy Storage at Intertek, where expertise in technical insights and quality assessments of energy storage technologies was developed. As a Research Associate at the University of Houston, Taylor led research in stretchable solid-state lithium-ion battery technology. Educational accomplishments include a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Houston and a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
