Zachary Towner

Zachary Towner, EIT, is an experienced engineer and scientist currently serving as Engineer/Scientist IV at EPRI, focusing on high-temperature servohydraulic testing and the incorporation of additively manufactured materials in power generation assets. Zachary holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, where research centered on extending time-dependent fracture mechanics to creep-brittle materials. Previous roles include Graduate Teaching Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, Graduate R&D Summer Intern at Sandia National Laboratories, and Track Field Engineer at Balfour Beatty Infrastructure.
