James Cote

James Cote is a Principal Engineer at Electric Power Systems, Inc., a position held since January 2002. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor at both the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology from September 1996 to December 2001 and at the University of Alaska Fairbanks from January 1992 to August 1996. Prior to academia, James Cote worked as an Electrical Engineer for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power from 1983 to 1988. Academically, James Cote earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
