John Yager

John Yager is a highly experienced professional in the fields of electrical engineering and stage production. Currently serving as a Substation Project Coordinator at Electric Power Systems since April 2023, Yager has extensive experience as a theatrical stage technician and pyrotechnician, having worked in Stagehands Local #2 Chicago since January 1979 and as a lead pyrotechnician at Gateway since August 2011. Prior roles include Substation Supervisor and Substation Field Engineer at Northern Indiana Public Service Company, where responsibilities included supervising electricians and overseeing installations, testing, and maintenance of substation equipment. Yager holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and an Associate's Degree in Supervision from Purdue University Northwest.
