Ryker Bailey has a strong and diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Starting from 2007, Ryker worked as a Senior Optical Manufacturing Engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation, where they oversaw the production of fiber optic-based inertial navigation units. Ryker achieved significant improvements in the alignment process and signal loss reduction.
In 2014, Ryker joined Edwards Lifesciences as a Senior Technical Manufacturing Supervisor, managing R&D activities and supporting team trainings in Lean manufacturing practices.
From 2015 to 2018, Ryker worked at BioFire Diagnostics, LLC, first as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, leading a team and implementing industry best practices in manufacturing. Later, as an Associate Director of Manufacturing Engineering, they grew the engineering team and directed manufacturing operations.
In 2021, Ryker moved to Nuclein as the Senior Director of Systems Engineering, overseeing engineering operations for in vitro diagnostic product development. Ryker played a critical role in increasing manufacturing efficiency and executed test protocols for product development.
Most recently, in 2023, Ryker joined Electric Power Systems, Inc. as the Manufacturing Engineering Director.
Ryker Bailey's education history includes obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Masters of Science and Technology with a focus on Science Instrumentation from the University of Utah. This degree was obtained between the years 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they received a Certificate of Manufacturing Engineering from UCLA, completing this program from 2010 to 2012. Ryker'sundergraduate education consists of a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics and Physics from Westminster College, which they completed from 2000 to 2006.
