Anton Frantz

Anton Frantz is an experienced project manager with a strong background in renewable energy and electrical engineering. Currently serving as Project Manager at EDF, Anton leads the Umoyilanga - Avondale Hybrid Power Plant. Previous roles include Project Manager at ACWA Power, overseeing significant projects such as the Bokpoort PV Augmentation Plant and Redstone CSP, as well as construction management and senior engineering positions. Anton has held leadership roles at Larsen & Toubro, Mulilo Group Holdings, Nordex Group, juwi Group, Eskom Holdings, ACTOM, and Sappi. Anton holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering and an MSc in Project Management from the University of Cape Town, along with a Diploma in Business Administration from Stellenbosch University. Specialized training includes inverter commissioning in Germany.
