Omar AlDaweesh is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the energy and telecommunications sectors. As Chief Executive Officer of EDF Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain since April 2018, Omar has been instrumental in developing the EDF Group's activities in the Middle East by formulating strategic initiatives and fostering client relationships. In addition to this role, Omar serves as Vice Chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and holds board positions at Amaala Sustainable Company for Energy and Emerge. Prior to joining EDF, Omar worked at Parsons Corporation as a Telecommunications System Engineer, where recognition included the Parsons Excellence award for outstanding performance. With foundational roles at the Ministry of Electricity and Water and as a researcher at the University of Hartford, Omar possesses a strong academic background, holding multiple degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Master’s in Management.
