Vincent Rougier

Vincent Rougier has extensive experience in the nuclear energy sector, holding the position of Senior Nuclear Advisor - Maintenance & Engineering at EDF since February 2001, where responsibilities include engineering and maintenance oversight for operating reactors in France. Rougier served as Director of Engineering at the Belleville-sur-Loire Nuclear station, overseeing system and component reliability, long-term operations, and maintenance documentation. Additional roles include representing EDF within the EPRI nuclear generation division, leading a 45-person engineering and projects department, and managing key engineering teams focused on long-term operations and project planning. Earlier experience includes positions as a System and Component Engineer and Mechanical Engineer, with a strong foundation in fracture mechanics and material science from a PhD obtained at Ecole des Mines de Paris.
