Brian Samson

Brian Samson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Brian started their career in 1991 as a Publishing Technology Manager at SerCom Solutions. Brian then joined Microsoft in 2000, where they held various positions, including Production and Vendor Manager and Localisation Project Manager. In 2009, they joined Houghton Mifflin Harcourt as a Senior Project Manager. Samson then worked at Symantec as a Global Program Manager and later as a Program Manager for Licensing Technology Engineering. In 2014, they joined Microsoft again as a Digital Services Project Manager. Currently, they are employed at ESB as the Head of Health Promotion, and previously worked there as an IT Project Manager.

Brian Samson completed a Certificate in People Practice from CIPD Qualifications in 2022-2023. Brian also obtained a Postgraduate certificate in Workplace Wellness from Tangent, Trinity's Ideas Workspace in the same period. In addition to their degrees, Brian has various certifications including Engage from Mens Development Network in 2023, Mental Health First Aid from Mental Health First Aid Ireland in 2019, Nutrition & Lifestyle Coach from the Institute of Health Sciences in 2017, Prince2 from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2017, Change Management from Prosci in 2013, Strength and Sports Conditioning Specialist from (ISSA) International Sports Sciences Association in 2010, UEFA A Coaching License from the Football Association of Ireland in 2010, and UEFA B Coaching License from the Football Association of Ireland in 2008.
