Dermot Shiels Ceng

Dermot Shiels CEng is an experienced Safety Manager and Group Internal Auditor at ESB, a position held since May 2000, with responsibilities in conducting operational, financial, and business unit audits to ensure compliance with corporate governance best practices. As a Chartered Structural Engineer and Senior Consultant, Dermot manages multi-disciplinary teams in the design and project management of High Voltage Transmission & Distribution Networks. Additionally, Dermot has led civil engineering projects for wind farms and served as a Resident Civil Engineer for a significant power station construction. A highly skilled professional, Dermot has leveraged advanced technology including BIM and Civil 3D in project delivery and has accumulated a breadth of international experience across various engineering roles.
