Technical Support Manager at Electriq Power

Rod Nibbe has worked in a variety of roles since 1991. Rod began as a Technical Sales Representative at Printware, followed by an Electrical Design Engineer at Kaltec Engineering. In 1992, they became a Service Engineer at Indigo America, and then moved to Baldwin Technology as a Service Manager in 1997. In 2000, Rod took a role as a Technical Support Specialist at Fuji Film Graphic Systems, and then in 2013 they became a Senior Engineer - Applications Engineering at Cooper Power Systems. Finally, in 2017 they became a Demand Response Team Lead at Eaton, and in 2022 they moved to Electriq Power as an Electric Support Engineer.

Rod Nibbe began their educational journey at High School from 1976 to 1983. Rod then attended Bethany School of Missions from 1983 to 1985, where they obtained two years of Bible and Theology. After that, they attended Normandale Community College from 1985 to 1988 to prepare for Electrical Engineering at Michigan Technological University, where they obtained a BS Electrical Engineering in Digital Electronics from 1988 to 1991. Finally, they obtained a Master's Degree in Data Analytics from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2016 to 2019. Additionally, Rod Nibbe obtained a Foundations of Business Analytics - Graduate Level certification from the University of Maryland University College in August 2017.
