Casey Peirano

Casey Peirano serves as a Staff Scientist at Electro Magnetic Applications, Inc. since October 2019, following a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University at Albany, SUNY from August 2013 to June 2019. Prior experience includes a position as a Research Assistant during the NOAA Hollings Scholar program at the NOAA Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory in June 2012, where statistical analyses were conducted on the Statistical Hurricane Intensity Prediction Rapid Intensification Index. Additional experience includes a National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates internship at Texas A&M University in 2011, focusing on the planetary boundary layer in Costa Rica. Casey Peirano holds a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from the University at Albany, attained in 2019, and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from the University of Oklahoma, completed in 2013.
