Vittorio Picco

Vittorio Picco is a Senior Scientist at Electro Magnetic Applications, Inc. since January 2019, specializing in electromagnetics related to the performance of rockets, satellites, and airplanes, with experience in simulation and testing of lightning effects. Prior to this role, Vittorio served as a Physicist at Schlumberger, contributing to the design of the GeoSphere 475 tool, and held various internships within the company. Vittorio's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago, complemented by a Master of Science and a Laurea from the same institution and Politecnico di Torino, respectively. Vittorio's early experience also includes a Process Engineer internship at Michelin, focusing on operational research for production optimization.
