Carolina Azcarate

Carolina Azcarate is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the food science and technology sector, primarily with Nestlé since January 2013. Currently serving as a Senior Specialist in the Technical Application Group for Beverages, Carolina developed the successful range of Starbucks creamers, contributing over $100 million in sales in the launch's first year. Previous roles include R&D Senior Development Specialist focusing on liquid creamers, where Carolina created shelf-stable recipes for high-temperature markets, and R&D Food Technologist, leading innovative product solutions for performance nutrition. Earlier roles at Nestlé and Alicorp included significant cost-saving initiatives and successful product launches, particularly in the confectionery and sauces categories. Carolina holds a Master of Science in Food Science and Technology from The Ohio State University and multiple degrees in food industry engineering and quality management from Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina.
