Friedrich Roth

Friedrich Roth serves as the Global Geophysical Advisor at Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA since September 2006, providing expertise in the application of marine electromagnetic data for oil and gas exploration. Previously held positions include Vice President of Imaging & Integration, overseeing global imaging and interpretation services, and Exploration Advisor, delivering EM interpretation support for Pemex’s deep-water prospect portfolio. Roth has also contributed as a member of the Board of Directors, Manager of Research, and Senior Physicist, focusing on R&D in processing, modeling, and inversion methods. Prior experience includes work as a Physicist at Schlumberger, where Roth researched novel borehole resistivity imaging techniques. Roth holds a PhD in Ground Penetrating Radar from Delft University of Technology and an MSc in Geophysics from Colorado School of Mines.
