Eric Peterson

Eric Peterson has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. Eric has held the position of Vice President of Research and Development at Electronic Biosciences, Inc. since January 2022. Prior to that, they were a Research Scientist at the same company from November 2019 to January 2022.

Before joining Electronic Biosciences, Inc., Eric worked at the University of Utah - Department of Chemistry. Eric started as a Research Assistant Professor in July 2016 and held this role until November 2019. As a Research Assistant Professor, Eric conducted scientific research supported by federal funding agencies. Their responsibilities included laboratory work, method development, data analysis, science communication (writing articles and presenting at national meetings), and supervision of undergraduate student research.

Prior to their position at the University of Utah, Eric served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Utah from September 2012 to June 2016.

Eric's earliest work experience dates back to May 2004 when they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Utah Department of Chemistry. Eric held this role until August 2012.

Throughout their career, Eric has gained extensive experience in scientific research, laboratory work, method development, data analysis, science communication, and supervision of undergraduate researchers.

Eric Peterson completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry at the University of Utah from 2001 to 2004. Eric then pursued further education at the same university, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemistry from 2004 to 2012.
