Kevin Patrick

Kevin Patrick is currently the CTO at Electronic Design & Development. Prior to this, they worked at Sanmina from January 2006 to January 2009 as the Senior SE and DOORS Lead. During their time there, they worked on two major projects: VIS-X next generation ground vehicle intercom network requirements verification and Patriot Missile Shelter Intercom (MIDOCS) requirements development.

For the VIS-X project, Kevin created a hierarchical configuration data file priority schema that enabled a systemic understanding of necessary equipment configuration data file sets needed across multiple potential configurations. This helped decrease the number of requirements’ verification simulation tests needed to verify complete system interoperability. The system had to be compatible with all forms of communication including various radio waveforms, telephone, and IP communications.

For the Patriot Missile Shelter Intercom project, Kevin redeveloped touch screen displays with interactions that brought replacement up to contemporary military standards for environmental, human factors, and EMI standards.

Finally, for the FireComm Fixed Wing, Rotary, and Performance Aircraft intercom system requirements development project, Kevin back engineered a replacement component for the C-130 and C-27 Intercom Systems to create verifiable requirement sets for aircraft acceptance qualification testing. Kevin reviewed FAA FARs, RTCA, and DoD standards to determine which ones applied to the development of an integrated top level system requirement set for a new military aircraft intercom system across three platforms looking for commonality and variances to determine the

Kevin Patrick has a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from San Jose State University, Business 1 and Business 2 Certificates in Business Management from Mission College, and a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from the University of Maryland.

Kevin Patrick reports to Sergio Cardona, President & CEO. Saul Figueroa - Software Engineer, Kevin Ehrichs - Software Engineer, and Tom Subiti - Mechanical Engineer report to Kevin Patrick. Some of their coworkers include Ben Jones - CFO, Milton Cardona - Operations Manager, and Joe Schmelzer - CMO.
