Raquel Manriquez

Raquel Manriquez is an experienced community manager at Elegant Themes since March 2019, overseeing a global network of local communities focused on software discussions. Prior to this role, Raquel co-founded Mode Effect, a custom web design and development agency, handling administration and bookkeeping from its inception in January 2010 until July 2020. Raquel also has a background in the performing arts, serving as Colorguard Caption Head at Desert Edge High School and Maryvale High School, where dance and flag training were provided. Additionally, Raquel worked as a Winterguard Movement Judge for the Arizona circuit and gained leadership experience as a Shift Supervisor/Barista at Starbucks. Raquel holds two Associate of Arts degrees in Photography from Estrella Mountain Community College and also pursued education at Arizona State University.
