Dr. Florian Schmidt

Dr. Florian Schmidt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Dr. Florian started their career in 2006 as an Entwicklungsingenieur at Atena Engineering GmbH. Dr. Florian then moved on to MBtech Group GmbH & Co. KGaA, where they worked as a Product Manager from 2007 to 2011. After that, they joined Marelli as a Team Leader Systems Engineering from 2011 to 2013.

Dr. Schmidt's career then took him to Elektrobit, where they held various roles over the years. Dr. Florian served as the Head of Central Testing from 2014 to 2016, Head of Customer Center China from 2016 to 2019, and Head of Product Group Connectivity from 2019 to 2022. In 2023, they returned to Elektrobit as the Head of Strategic Operations & Chief of Staff to the Managing Director.

Before joining Elektrobit again in 2023, Dr. Schmidt worked at Webasto Group as the Vice President Global R&D EE from 2022 to 2022.

Their extensive work experience demonstrates their expertise in strategic operations, product management, systems engineering, and research and development.

Dr. Florian Schmidt holds a Dipl.-Ing. (Univ.) degree in Elektrotechnik, Elektronik und Informationstechnik from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and a Dr.-Ing. degree in Informatik from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau. Dr. Florian also has some education history in Mobile Communications at UNSW.
