Arup Roy-Burman is the co-founder and CEO of Elemeno Health. Arup has dedicated their career to improving healthcare through innovation and technology.

Roy-Burman began their career as a medical director for pediatric transport at California Shock Trauma Air Rescue. Arup then became the assistant medical director for pediatric and neonatal transport at REACH Air Medical Services. In 2011, they joined UCSF Medical Center as the medical director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

Under Roy-Burman's leadership, the PICU has become an institution leader in the adoption and development of electronic medical records (EMR). Arup has also led the development of UCSF's telehealth program in the inpatient environment. In addition to their work at UCSF, Roy-Burman has served on various committees dedicated to improving healthcare quality and safety, including the Quality/Safety Committee of the Benioff Children's Hospital.

Arup Roy-Burman earned their BA in Biochemistry from University of California, Berkeley. Arup then attended University of California, San Francisco - School of Medicine, where they earned their MD. Afterwards, they completed a Pediatrics Residency Program at Stanford University School of Medicine. Finally, they did a Fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Residency Program at UCSF. Arup is certified from the American Board of Pediatrics and also has a certification from the sub-board in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
