Kyle Mandla

Kyle Mandla, PhD, is a seasoned chemist with extensive experience in process development and synthetic chemistry. As a Senior Scientist at Element Biosciences since June 2020, Kyle has successfully onboarded a sustaining engineer function and led scale-up activities to enhance production capabilities during rapid growth. Prior roles include Senior Chemist at Strem Catalog, where Kyle developed synthetic routes for air-sensitive molecules and led a successful project for a new active pharmaceutical ingredient. Kyle's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from UC San Diego and a B.S. with Honors in Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington, complemented by earlier research roles that focused on novel chemical synthesis and development.
