Melinda MacHado

Melinda Machado, CFA has extensive work experience in treasury and finance roles. Melinda is currently serving as Vice President, Funding at Element Fleet Management. Previously, they held the position of Head of Treasury at Hortican Inc from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, Melinda worked as Treasury Director at Celestica from 2017 to 2019. Melinda'sresponsibilities in this role included managing the company's capital structure, pension plans, insurance risk management, and foreign exchange hedging programs. Melinda also has experience as a Treasury Manager at Vale Canada Limited from 2008 to 2016, where they oversaw treasury and cash management duties, debt financing, and liquidity and investment strategies. Melinda began their career as a Natural Gas Trader at RBC Capital Markets from 2004 to 2008, where they managed the natural gas options book and handled currency risk management.

Melinda Machado, CFA holds an Honours BSc. degree in Science and Business from the University of Waterloo. Melinda is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder, certified by the CFA Institute.
