Hari Tummala

Hari Tummala has a strong background in software engineering, with experience in various industries including insurance and telecommunications.

Hari is currently working as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer at ELEMENT Insurance AG since June 2021. In this role, they are responsible for developing white-label insurance products using industry-standard technologies. Hari has also implemented scalable backend microservices and created intuitive web portals to optimize policy management and enhance user experience.

Prior to this, Hari worked at FRIDAY Insurance as a Software Engineer from April 2020 to May 2021. During their time there, they collaborated with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and automate car insurance policy creation processes. Hari also led the development of critical features such as Pay-per-km tariff and Renewals.

From August 2018 to March 2020, Hari worked at AUTO1 Group as a Software Engineer. Hari played a key role in developing and maintaining a robust system consisting of backend microservices. Hari also automated employee lifecycle processes and implemented a reliable currency conversion service.

Hari's previous experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Verizon from June 2017 to August 2018, where they refactored a monolithic application into a scalable microservice architecture. Hari also designed and implemented user-friendly web interfaces.

Hari started their career as a Programmer Analyst at Cognizant from July 2015 to June 2017. Hari was involved in the development of a data mining and analysis tool, as well as the migration and expansion of a legacy web application.

Hari Tummala completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from KL University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Intermediate education from the Board of Intermediate Education from 2009 to 2011. Hari obtained their 10th-grade certification (SSC) from the Central Board of Secondary Education in 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Hari Tummala has also obtained additional certifications. Hari completed "Kotlin for Java Developers" from LinkedIn in January 2021 and obtained the "AWS Certified Developer - Associate" certification from Amazon Web Services in December 2017.
