Zubin Eapen, MD, MHS, FACC, FAHA has held a variety of roles in the medical field since 2000. From 2000-2005, they were a Strategy Associate for the Corporate Strategy Group at The World Bank. From 2005-2014, they held various roles at Duke University, including Member of the Duke School of Medicine Board of Visitors, Adjunct Associate Professor, Associate Professor of Medicine, Director of Clinical Improvement, Director of Education IT Innovations, Medical Director of Duke Heart Failure Same Day Access, Assistant Professor of Medicine, Chief Fellow of the Division of Cardiology, Chief Fellow of the Duke Clinical Research Institute, Cardiology Fellow, and Assistant Chief Resident of the Department of Medicine. From 2012-2014, they were an Electronic Media Editor for JACC: Heart Failure and an Associate Editor for American Heart Journal. From 2014-2017, they were an Editor for Hurst's the Heart, 14th Edition at McGraw-Hill. From 2017-2020, they held various roles at Anthem, including Chief Medical Officer of HealthCore, Corporate Vice President, and Chief Medical Officer of CareMore Health. In 2019, they became a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association. In 2020, they became the Chief Medical Officer of Element Science, Inc.
Zubin Eapen, MD, MHS, FACC, FAHA received their Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2000. Zubin then went on to earn their MD from Duke University School of Medicine in 2005. In 2010, they completed their Master of Health Science from Duke University School of Medicine.
