Catherine Oldershaw

Catherine Oldershaw is a Director for the Climate Unit at Element 84, overseeing a team focused on developing software solutions for climate adaptation and disaster relief since February 2023. Previously, Catherine served as Design Lead at Azavea and User Experience Team Lead at Bresslergroup, demonstrating expertise in human-centered design and collaboration with engineers, executives, and designers. Roles at BCG Platinion involved strategic design efforts, while earlier positions included internships and assistant roles in design research and information design at institutions such as Carnegie Mellon University and Torque Digital. Catherine holds a Master of Arts in Design from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Sociology, as well as Fine Arts, from Kalamazoo College.
