Andrew Mutka has a solid academic and research background in the field. Andrew began their career as a Summer Intern at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center in 2005 and then returned to the same position in 2006 at Penn State University. In 2007, they joined Washington University in St. Louis as a PhD student and continued their studies until 2013. Following that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center from 2013 to 2016. Currently, they are a Research Scientist at Elemental Enzymes, starting as Research Scientist II in 2016 and recently being promoted to Research Scientist III in January 2023.
Andrew Mutka completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Valparaiso University from 2003 to 2007. Andrew continued their education at Washington University in St. Louis, where they obtained their PhD in Plant Biology from 2007 to 2013.
