Chief Brand Officer at Elements Advisors

Carl Richards began their work experience as a Financial Advisor at Prudential Securities in 1996. Carl later worked as a Wealth Manager at Merrill Lynch from 1999 to 2004. In 2004, Richards founded Clearwater Asset Management, where they served as Founder until 2009. Carl then joined TCI Wealth Management as the Director of Research from 2008 to 2009. In 2010, they founded Prasada Capital Management and worked as Founder until 2012. During this time, they also served as a Columnist for the New York Times: Sketch Guy from 2010. In 2011, Richards started working as an Author, with their first book "The Behavior Gap: Simple Ways to Stop Doing Dumb Things with Money" published in January 2012. From 2012 to 2016, they served as the Director of Investor Education at BAM Advisor Services. Currently, Richards is the Chief Brand Officer at The Elements Financial Monitoring System™, a position they have held since 2022.

Carl Richards attended the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business from 1993 to 1997. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance.
