Ad Molenaar

Ad Molenaar is a seasoned psychiatrist and psychotherapist with extensive experience in the field. Currently, Molenaar serves as an educator for psychotherapy internships at Eleos locatie fontein/Spreng since February 2017. Additionally, Molenaar operates a private practice in Woudenberg and has been affiliated with Eleos since 2000, focusing on the treatment of personality disorders using Mentalisation-Based Treatment and Schema-Focused Treatment. Molenaar's professional background includes roles at various institutions, including the Gereformeerd Psychiatrisch Ziekenhuis and Zon en Schild, as well as involvement in the quality project of the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Psychiatrie from 2006 to 2019. Molenaar holds a Master's degree in Management of Health Care from Carnegie Mellon University and has pursued further education in family therapy, EMDR, and schema therapy.
